About me

a little bit about me

I’m a psychotherapist, husband, and father—each of those roles is central to who I am.

Background

I was born in 1982 in Taos, New Mexico. When I was 9 months old, my parents moved to Sweden, where I spent my formative years. At 15, I returned to the United States and have spent most of my adult life here.

After a decade on the East Coast—where I completed college and graduate studies—Tucson, Arizona became my home for ten years. In May 2025, I moved with my wife and son to Arvada, Colorado, where we now live and put down roots as a family.

Clinical Work

Since my early 20s, I’ve been immersed in personal growth and development work, with no end in sight. Over the past decade, I’ve completed more than 700 hours of audio-visual training in advanced methods of psychotherapy under the mentorship of highly accomplished clinicians.

I provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, families, and groups. I also teach and supervise other therapists across the globe.

My Values

I bring the same depth of presence, curiosity, and commitment to my family life as I do to my clinical work—and vice versa. Whether I’m in the therapy room or at home with my wife and son, I strive to show up fully.

Outside the Office

I enjoy the outdoors, dark chocolate, time with family, and reading about “mind-stuff”—especially where psychology, philosophy, and the complexity of being human intersect.
